It was our first time here and it was a wonderful find! It was cozy, and the food appealing to your eye!! It was very good and we'll definitely return!!
We had a buffet with a large group 4/25/2025 - stuffed flounder, chicken marsala and whipped potatoes were all excellent. Cesar salad was the best I’ve had. Pasta was average but good -extras were plenty like hors d’oeuvres,, and vanilla ice cream. The side room that we ate in was dated in the 70’s but no complaints as pricing was very fair. I would recommend this restaurant.
Looks pretty fancy, I feel underdressed but the food is more casual, casual atmosphere but you wouldn't be out of place dressed nicely. Good drinks and service and food and all. If it wasn't so far away I'd be a regular.

1st time at Hideaway. I'm from out of town, in area for 10 days,so just looking for a decent meal. Delightfully surprised. Ordered bowl of New England Clam Chowda & in my opinion outstanding - in fact best ever. Will be back just for their Chowda - crazy good. Had Fisherman Platter - bay scallops, classic, & flounder fried w rice & broccoli- all excellent. Kristin did great job as server - very attentive & busy. Dinner was very good portion was huge, not only scallops & clams next to flounder; but all over underneath it. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the high quality. Will be back.
Wow, is what we experienced at this hidden gem of dinning at Hideaway Restaurant & Pub!!!! My husband, Michael and I were particularly looking for a local best at a new place where we would enjoy after our regular hang out at Rocky Neck beach state park. And we have found It here!!! Cindy answered the phone each time I called to make reservation for 2 then called back to move it up since we backed up early and got hungrier than we thought. We chose to sit at the bar for a good view of the whole place and the outdoor marsh. Kristen, our excellent server, greeted us and promptly getting everything we requested. Do get New England clam chowder, seafood bisque, calamari, Ceasar salad, whole bellies clam dinner, wild salmon dinner and Haddock dinner. Yes, there were only 2 of us but I could not pass up whole bellies in season while enjoying my wild Salmon dinner. There was no room for desserts so you are on your own there. To have gotten the best food, with exceptional friendly attentive service, cold beer serve with a glass from the freezer and the relaxing ambience were all met and exceeded our expectations. We will be back for more when we go to our favorite beach again. Thank you, Kristen for exceptional dinning experience. Our hats are off to your awesome chef as well!

Went with a group, and our meals were delicious! The waitress was friendly and checked on our table throughout our visit. I will definitely come again. 100% recommend!
